The Battleship will remember the anniversary of the launch of the ship and the anniversary of the attack of Pearl Harbor with a ceremony on the forecastle (forwarded deck) of the Battleship at 10am on Wednesday, Dec. 7. Capt. Walt Urban, USN (ret) will host the ceremony, which will also feature remarks by Dr. Michael Golda, Chief Technology Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division. A memorial wreath will be cast upon the River to remember those that passed in the Pearl Harbor attack and who served aboard the USS New Jersey.
The ceremony is free for all to attend.
