Cranford VFW Post 335’s Commander Jay Boxwell has announced the annual Veterans Day breakfast at the Cranford Post. The day of the event this year will be Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. Boxwell was proud to announce that this year’s keynote speaker will be Ronald
Herman, Command Master Chief of Naval Weapons Station Earle. Master Chief Herman has been in the United States Navy for more than 20 years as a submariner.
“This breakfast is a staple of our programs here at the post” Boxwell said. The breakfast is one of the largest events the post does to support all veterans in the community. Boxwell stated, ” On this day we honor all veterans who served our great county.”
The breakfast is open to all, one need not be a member of the post or a veteran. The breakfast is being provided by the Cranford Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. There is no cost for this breakfast. Just come and enjoy a nice breakfast, hear a current veteran reflect on his military service and just honor our veterans.
