VETERANS DAY SERVICE and “The Saluting Marine” honoring veterans at Service Sunday, November 10th at the American Legion

Cherry Hill, NJ – Tim Chambers, aka “The Saluting Marine” from Washington DC’s Rolling Thunder will be in town to help honor our local veterans this Sunday, November 10th at the American Legion in Cherry Hill.

Chambers will arrive at the Legion at approx. 2:30pm with an escort after visiting Cookies Tavern in Philadelphia – where he will be celebrating the USMC’s 238th birthday.

The Veterans Day Service at the American Legion begins at 3pm. All are welcome to attend.

In addition to Chambers participation, Camden County Veteran’s Affairs will be on hand to present several Military Service Medals to some of our local veterans, including past and present American Legion Commanders. A Flag Retirement Ceremony will follow the presentations.

Buffet to follow Ceremony. Tim Chambers will also have T-shirts available for a donation of $20.
