Haddonfield American Legion Post 38 is sponsoring The Inaugural Veterans Haven 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk starting at 9:00 am in Cooper River Park. The proceeds of this event will give financial support for Veterans Haven , a transitional facility in Winslow, NJ for homeless/unemployed veterans. The event fee is $25 per runner/walker who pre-register by mail postmarked by Wed., May 27thor $30 on the day of the event. Those interested in participating in this event can get an application by visiting the Haddonfield American Legion Post 38 website ( www.h-a-s.org/al38/home.html ); by E-mailing Tom Baird (tombaird@comcast.net) or by calling  the Race Director, Jon Batchelor (856-428-1476).
