As part of an annual, multi-format humanities program focused on veterans’ narratives, national nonprofit, in cooperation with the Rutgers-Camden Writers House, facilitates a series of generative writing workshops for veterans and family members. An experienced facilitator will guide participants through a series of generative writing prompts that engage veterans’ experiences.
This year, our focus is on the experiences of women, people of color, and/or LGBTQ people serving in the armed forces, though anyone, regardless of their affiliation with those groups, is welcome at the workshops.
The Writers House is easily available via PATCO from Philadelphia or south Jersey. Take PATCO to City Hall Station, walk one block north on N. 5th and two blocks west on Cooper Street.
