The Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs is excited to join with Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) to host its annual OEF/OIF Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom Welcome Home Event and VA Information Day on Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm. June 14 is Flag Day and all Veterans will receive a flag when they visit (while supplies last). The event is open to all Veterans and their families. Guests can also take advantage of a special Veteran rate of $15 for a Fire Power audio tour. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center welcomes returning combat Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.Services include primary care, specialty care, family counseling, prescriptions, women’s health, behavioral health, and so much more. The purpose of the event is to inform Veterans about services offered by the VA. This year the event will also include an information fair for all era Veterans. “A variety of community and local government agencies will provide information about services provided to veterans and their family members,” said Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs.
