WARRIORS WATCH. We have been asked to Welcome Home a returning Marine, Captain Will Carney, from the Sandbox so that is just what we will do.A 2005 Graduate of Eastern High School, Our Hero enjoyed playing Football, Baseball and Soccer. He continued his sports career at Bucknell University in Football and Baseball and Graduated in 2009. Our Hero’s Brother Eric says Will was always a History Buff and took great interest in conflicts, specifically Battles.After his junior year in College Our Hero started going down to Quantico during his summers and was eventually commissioned into 1st bat-12th Marines as a Fresh 2nd Lt. on June 27, 2009. After 2 tours in Afghanistan and South Korea he will return a Captain-Select from the 1st bat-3rd Marines. Will served as a Fire Directional Officer and a Forward Observer during his tours. Wills Brother Eric said Our Hero is presently in Hawaii, looking forward to a nice summer of hot weather, cold beers and enjoying riding his HARLEY.
There you have it…time to give this 2 tour Hero the Welcome Home he truly deserves…
