Program Honors Service With Parades And Gifts From Local Merchants. On Saturday August 24th, Ocean City’s American Legion Post 524 will again salute the return of a United States serviceman and his family with complimentary housing and a shower of gifts from local merchants. Staff Sergeant Matt Kruger of Kingston, NY, his wife Bridgette, and their two daughters, Kyla and Ava, will enjoy a week at “America’s Greatest Family Resort“ in celebration of his safe return from a third tour of duty, most recently in Afghanistan. Kruger is the fourth serviceman this season to be hosted by the Morvay-Miley American Legion Post. To join us in welcoming Ssgt Kruger home and presenting his family with their gifts, call the Post at 609-398-1751 to verify time. At this time, the Krugers are expected to arrive at approx. 11am.
