We have been ask by the family of Pfc. Robert “Bobby” Dooner to Welcome him home in ROCK STAR fashion and that’s just what we will do. Rally Point: FireBase 69, 82nd & Bartram Ave, Philadelphia Pa
Rally Time: 1230  (12:30pm), KSU 1250 (12:50pm) Robert is 22 years old, and grew up in the Philadelphia area as a devoted Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers fan! He attended Demasi Middle School in Marlton NJ, and attended Father Judge and Central Bucks South for high school in Pennsylvania. He was a star athlete on the football field for 12 years and aspires to coach one day. He enlisted in the US Army when he decided he wanted to dedicate his time and passions to protecting and serving his country. Never satisfied with sitting behind a desk, Robert wanted to play an active role in helping others on a global scale. He left for Boot Camp at Fort Sill, Oklahoma in February 2012, and proved his strength and determination to his leaders. At his graduation ceremony, he was one of four soldiers receiving special recognition in the Honors Program. He was awarded the High Basic Rifle Marksmanship Award for receiving the highest score at expert level 38 out of 40 shots during his training. Once he completed specialized AIT training at Fort Sill, he was stationed to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas and received his orders to Afghanistan in accordance with Operation Enduring Freedom as a 13 Fox Fire Support Specialist. He served a 9 month tour in Afghanistan from December 29th, 2012 through September 10th, 2013. While overseas, his Battalion Commander recognized his unique abilities and unyielding determination in the line of duty and promoted him to Private First Class and presented him with a special military coin to represent his achievements. His family, girlfriend, and friends are all SO proud of Robert’s endless successes as a soldier and as an individual. He is a hero to many and we are so excited to have him home! http://forums.lutzkicksass.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1379020387/s-new/
