Welcome Home, Soldier
An award-winning tribute to Vietnam Veterans that tells true stories about the effects of the Vietnam War and the subsequent homecoming on veterans and their families. Now playing in its 23rd year! It is the longest running play in Los Angeles, and the longest consecutive-running drama in the country!
SPECIAL NEWS: Creator, co-writer and director of “Welcome Home, Soldier”, Tony Savant, is currently rehearsing a production of the play in the Philadelphia area. The play opens July 18, 2014, at the Center for Performing & Fine Arts, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This will be the first ever production of the play outside of Los Angeles.
All of our shows are free (except the production in Philadelphia), but we do accept donations that go to the theater company and local Veterans charities. All Veterans will get seated, regardless. If you are a Veteran, and you need special seating arrangements, just let us know in the comments box when you make a reservation and we will do our best to accommodate you.

(I am not a member of Playhouse West nor the Center for Performing & Fine Arts; have been going to this play for most of its existence. It is a must-see for all vets, especially those from Vietnam! Am not a vet, but have PTSD. This is cathartic!)
