RUSSELL GUNNING  –  On May 11, 2019 age 93 of Moorestown, NJ. Russ was a  lifelong resident of Moorestown and served in the US Army during WWII.
He and was retired from the Township of Moorestown after many years with the Dept. of public Works. Russ was a Life member of the Moorestown Emergency Squad, Life Member of the Relief Engine Company where he held the distinction of being the Oldest Living member of until today during which time he held various positions with the dept. He is a exempted member of the NJ State Fireman Relief Assoc. He will be remembered as a kind generous man to all that knew him and loved him. Please no Flowers. Memorial contributions to Relief Engine Co. Antique Fund, PO Box 215, Moorestown, NJ. O8057. or the American Cancer Society. (Russ was also a member of the American Legion Post 372 and attended the Gathering of Heroes on numerous occasions).

Viewing Wednesday, May 15th 6pm-8pm at Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E Main St., Moorestown, NJ.

Viewing Thursday May 16th at Immanuel Baptist Church, 6 S. Poplar Ave, Maple Shade, NJ from 9am – 10am, followed by a service at 10am. Interment Morgan Cemetery, Cinnaminson.

Flag Line in place by 5:30pm. (Viewing 6-8pm)
