11/26/2014 – Benefit for Billy – FOP Lodge 5 – Phila – 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Benefit for Billy – SN William Stratton III joined the Navy in May 2013 and is stationed in San Diego, CA at Camp Pendleton. On Sept 13, 2014, Billy was in a tragic motorcycle accidetn in which he received serious head trauma. Being from Phila, the Navy was kind enough to send his mother (Carole Stratton – Phila Police Officer) and his sister to be there with him. Billy has a long road ahead of him. Help us honor Active Duty Military and their families aboard our nations most decorated battleship, Battleship New Jersey, as they arrive for a traditional full course Thanksgiving turkey dinner. FLAG LINE on the Pier – Please join us in providing a Flag/Greeting Line on the Pier at the Battleship NJ – be there by 9:50am. Bring flags and posters to show your support. 12/06/2014 – Wreaths of Remembrance – Glouc County Veterans Memorial Cemetery – You are invited to join us in honoring the memory of the 2100 veterans and family members who are interred at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Monroe Township on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Families of the interred veterans are invited to a private gathering and wreath laying at 9:00AM. Volunteers will gather at 9:45AM and individual grave ceremonies and wreath laying will follow after the memorial ceremony. The memorial ceremony will start promptly at 10:00AM.
